The Confederación de Empresarios de Lugo (CEL) is a non-profit organisation, founded in 1977, which agglutinates business associations and companies in the province of Lugo under free membership. A community of entrepreneurs that also has a staff of professionals to support the business and regional industry of Lugo, through legal, labour, economic, tax, training and employment advisory services, among others.

The Escuela de Carniceros de Galicia is a training centre for butchers that started its activity in 2021 in Castro de Ribeiras de Lea to alleviate the lack of qualified personnel in the meat sector, one of the major problems of this industry. It offers specialised training, both privately and officially approved by public entities.
